Dear Participant,

Welcome to the 34th Leuven Open. We are expecting you on Thursday, November 9th in De Kring, Jozef Pierrestraat 60 in Leuven (Kessel-Lo).

You can find the list of participants and all other information on our web site.

Please be reminded that you have to show up at our registration desk in the tournament hall between 6pm and 7pm. The first round starts at 7:30pm.

If you cannot be present on November 9th and you want to take a bye for the first round, please let us know by mail before November 9th at 6pm the latest. Some of you already did so. You can verify this on the list of participants (first column). For the other rounds you can request a bye during the tournament. We highly appreciate it if you announce planned byes well before the tournament. Hereby we remind you that Friday November 10th is a normal work and school day in Belgium. During the tournament you can cancel bye requests previously made.

Players that neither show up for the first round on November 9th, nor request a bye for the first round, cannot participate and will not be refunded.

If you cannot participate in the tournament, please tell us as soon as possible, in order for us to contact a player on the reserve list. If you withdraw before October 31st , we will refund you. If you withdraw at a later moment in time, we will refund only in case we can find a replacement.

We might take pictures during the tournament, to publish on our web site. Also there will be live streaming of some games. Please notify us if you do not want that focused image of yours to be published.
